SU - Gemsona: Dioptase

Made my gemsona a while ago who's become rather popular for some reason wtf??, so here she is~

Dioptase serves under Yellow Diamond's faction of Homeworld, as a sort of planetary information gathering gem. Like, she'd be sent to other planets (before colonization started) to gather information on the various flora & fauna. If only for research purposes & if they pose a threat to gemkind.

She's been around since a little before Rose Quartz's rebellion, and had the misfortune to discover Homeworld's plans concerning pseudo-fusion (aka: The Cluster). She planned to desert Homeworld, but was captured and used as an early pseudo-fusion experiment, by having her gem cracked, with a shard of a loyal soldier being placed & sealed inside (using an early version of that goo that Peridot's flask robonoids used to fix the warp pads).

The remainder of the shard's personality/consciousness altered her thought pattern into becoming unconditionally loyal towards Homeworld (as the shard had been before it was broken). When confronted with acts of disloyalty or questioning the Diamond Authority, she goes into a sort of 'kill-mode', with only the need to break the gem(s) in question.

Unfortunately, as a side effect of the flask goo used to seal the shard in her (as I believe it stimulates crystal growth), the shard in Dioptase's gem will start to slowly grow and 'infect' Dio's gem, as well as her appearance & personality each time she's poofed & takes the time to regenerate.

One of the only ways to keep that from happening is if Steven heals Dioptase's gem & forces the shard out. :3
