I liked them too, but they introduced so many so QUICKLY that it was hard to get attached. Its been so long since I've seen the original, though I do remember doing a double-take the first time I saw the new BB was shown and saying, "Why's BB green?" XD
True, though by the time the later episodes came out Cartoon Network kept switching the times it was on and I never had the patience to learn when the new episodes would be on.
Right, when I first saw the new Teen Titans I didn't know that BB just started with his powers and that they didn't do a real backstory on him for a long long time. I figured they'd show him before he changed. XD
Well, we get a backstory for him & Cy in the Teen Titans GO! comic series. (I wish the art was different for that part of that issue, though. >_>) In fact, we tend to get a bit more info here & there in that comic series. I suppose the show only had a set number of eps each season, so they had to squeeze in what they could.
Lol, I understand I've never missed an ep of Batman the animated series. XD
It's been so long since I last read a Teen Titans comic, but generally that's how most comics are, awesome characters always have mysterious backgrounds that take forever to reveal. From what I understand about TV programming (which is little) every show HAS to have a set number of eps per season because that's how the networks know how to promote/fund them.
I love that show too. ^_^ I got the Vol1 dvd pack so far.
I got a bunch of the TTGO! issues. I never like background stories that take forever. >_> It's easier to just find out that kinda info online. In the TTGO! comic series, the background stories only took 1 issue....sometimes just half of one...& they were still pretty good.
It sucks when a show has a set number of seasons & you just want more. T^T
